Raquel Asensio is a design and innovation leader who helps organisations turn complex challenges into clear, user-validated products and services. She trained in Industrial Design Engineering and Product Design in Barcelona, building early experience across diverse industries before moving into international innovation roles.

Her background bridges physical and digital innovation—from front-end concept design and play experience development (including research, trend work, art direction and prototyping) to service design and UX leadership in digital contexts.

Today, she leads Innovation and design services within the IT Innovation environment, building innovation capabilities across the organisation and supporting strategic initiatives focused on emerging technologies.

Raquel brings a practical, people-centred approach—combining international user research, strong visual storytelling and energising facilitation to help teams align quickly, make confident decisions, and move from ambiguity to tested and impactful innovations.
